John Mallory, a.k.a. Geddy the Gecko, is a former pro sports mascot and a “Top-Twenty” nationally ranked sports mascot actor. John has entertained large audiences of all ages in stadiums and arenas for basketball, soccer, baseball, football & hockey games. John has performed in churches full time since 1995 with 16 different Christian shows/ crusades. 15 of the shows feature various Biblical topics, and one special show is custom designed for basketball and other sports related Christian events for awards nights, family nights, kickoff nights, etc. for all ages: customized for any age group such as: grades 4-6, grades 1-6, grades K-6, or the entire family. (different preschool shows are available upon request). “Geddy” the gecko lizard mascot’s High-Energy, Multimedia performances feature songs, zany skits, awesome video footage, and amazing projected images/ photos and fascinating stories from around the sports world, customized to the theme of your event: example: in the Basketball theme, skits of famous pro basketball mascots are featured. Kids from the oldest grade in attendance often assist Geddy live on stage. Each show closes with “Kids Evangelism Explosion International” (Kids EE) as John sheds his gecko costume backstage then returns to share the gospel. Another Optional Ending: John not only presents the gospel, but simultaneously teaches kids and parents “how to share their faith”. Everyone gets a FREE “how to” study card (gospel tract) to practice at home. “EE” is #1 and is used in 212 countries! Most pro sports teams have two mascots, one for the stunts and one that is giant and inflatable for special tricks. John also uses two costumes. A 2nd character, Super Geddy, is the highlight, the most exciting part of each Geddy the Gecko show, as the Grand Finale! Super Geddy is much larger than Geddy. He performs upside down! Kids love him so much that if necessary, to help you cover the extra $250 fee of having Super Geddy, John will sacrifice his wife Mary’s plane ticket. If you have an unlimited budget and are able to pay for a second plane ticket, then Mary will assist John with props, sound, video & Powerpoint. When Mary is not present, John needs a sound person, a video/powerpoint person, and a sales table assistant. John needs a hand-held mic (cordless or w/ a long cord), a CD player, (DVD/VCR & a Powerpoint computer/projector/screen are all optional), & a sales table w/ 2 chairs. You may give each child (or each new Christian) our custom booklet “Saying ‘Thank you’ to God in your New Christian Life” if your church pays $1 per booklet. FREE ten minute Promo DVD/ VHS available. All CHURCHES with under 1000 in average congregation weekend attendance: Use prices as listed below when your budget allows, offer less whenever necessary, to meet your budget. All CHURCHES with OVER 1000 in avg. congregation weekend attendance: Pay full price when possible: First show: $1000: add $250 for Super Geddy. Super Geddy is free for anyone that submits an online review on the Upward website (when hosting an Upward event) as John is in the process of being approved for the Upward “recommended” list). Additional days at same church: $250 to $375. Additional days at a different nearby church, Christian school or secular school (as John has 14 secular show topics): prices range from $250 to $625. Public school show topics: Rainforest, Self-Esteem, Fitness, Drugs, Multicultural Dances, Reading, Bullies, etc. Airfare is not required if you call/e-mail to find out when John will be in your area.
